    Malwarebytes version 1.61

    Malwarebytes released version 1.61 today.
I tried to update using the auto update on a W7 x64 PC and it failed.
I ran the mbam-clean uninstall utility and downloaded/installed version 1.61 without issues.
Had to re-register and reconfigure the options.
I'll wait a few days to see if others report auto update issues to MBAM before updating other PC's.

Here is a link with release notes and download link.

Received auto-update notice on 04/09. Didn't work on my 7 Pro x64 machine. Had to manually uninstall MBAM then reinstall. But auto-update worked fine on an XP w/SP3 machine. Go figure.

    Yes.
As far as i know it must at least be run with "Run as Admin" for program updates or manual DB updates.

All of mine are the MBAM Pro paid personal (home user) version...

I don't think the free version can do Auto Updates...
