    NOD 32, used it for years, and works great on 7

    or a good free one I've also used for a while is Avast!

    No problem. It just gets messy when people post the same things in so many different threads...and then you go back and try to find something that you read about and cannot find it since there are 10 threads on a similar topic.

    Microsoft Security Essentials, hands down. =P Thats my suggestion for people to use at least.

    +1 been using it for a while now, and it picked up all the viruses i had did a "weird" experiment with it. Installed 7 on an old pc, and download some things, i knew that were infected with virus, scanned with nod32 and avast, and did nothing about it. Then Morro, came and picked up all of the viruses :) scanned again with both nod32 and avast, no virus result! 100% clean! Did a reinstall though just to be on the safe site.

    But unfortunately, this hands-down favorite isn't publicly available. So unless you want a leaked, torrented copy of your AV software...you really cannot get that right now.
