Permission Research virus
So two days ago, i clicked on the Permission Research website because it was for an offer. When i signed up, it made me install the Permission Research program or process. However, today when i was on the internet, my internet wouldn't let me access hotmail and only showed a blank space. Thinking that something might have affected this, i decided to go uninstall the Permission Research toolbar or program ( i forgot ). When i clicked uninstall though, nothing popped up, but the program disappeared from the list. Later i went to my program files (x86) folder and found it there. I deleted everything EXCEPT for the prls.dll and the prls64.dll. So i did some research on google and found out it was a virus T.T... i read some threads, but couldn't really find the answer to delete those files. Later i read a thread where a guy renamed those .dll files to .txt. However, i had to play around with the properties settings and ownerships settings of those files for a while. In the end, i went on my administrator account and was able to rename only the prls.dll file to prls.txt file and miraculously managed to delete that. However, i was still unable to rename the prls64.dll file. It kept on saying i needed the administrator's permission to do so, even when i was on my administrator user and changed the ownership setting. Earlier, when i first tried to delete it, it kept saying that those files were running in process, preventing me from being able to delete it. Now i really don't know what to do to get rid of that spyware or virus. Is there a way to fix this, remove the virus/spyware from my computer completely and make sure that it's completely removed? Please help me, i want to be able to purchase things on ebay .
