I'm a few weeks off completing my training now :) Just to clarify, are you a malware analyst or a malware expert? As far as I can tell it's the former but feel free to tell me where to go if I'm wrong!

I Just started doing logs for Malware Removal at BestTechie Forums since G4 is closing down after Esquire bought them out, 14 days till closing.

Sorry if I came across as doubting your experience; I can assure you that I didn't mean this at all :)

The malware removal experts category is for security developers (sUBs, Attribune, S!R! etc. all fit into this category) whereas malware removal analysts (like, what sounds like, you, and I) simply have the experience with the tools themselves. I was just curious whether it was just a simple misunderstanding or whether you had a tool out there that I hadn't come across before, that's all.

Ah!! So you are trained in this also. Some people are, and that is good to learn.

Jacee, tom982, myself, and I'm sure there are others, attended and graduated from one school or another.

Lots of work and analysis involved, though. Some of them even test you.

What school(s) did you get trained at, and graduate from?
