Will a virus spread to other partition?

I recently had a virus on my C: partition.
Pretty sure it was a keylogger.. I reinstalled windows but did it spread to other partitions?
    Or is it unlikely?

It could have. If it's a keylogger, it's unlikely. Scan your other drives, does anything show up?

    Hi,

Its very hard to give you a definitive answer : we have no detail of the malware (only your suspicion that is was a keylogger). If your scans are coming up clean, perhaps its gone. Its your decision, we can't tell you for sure.

A virus may infect files on other Partitions or Hard Disks but on the other hand it may not. All depends on the links between the infected partition and the outside partitions and disks and if these links are or remain in use.
