    UKASH virus

    Hi all,

I have downloaded defender to a usb stick, problem is it wont boot from the stick. I have the UKASH virus and can't even get into safe mode it just throws me out. If my machine is not formatted to boot from usb and I can't get in to change it what options do I have. Is there a way of getting in and changing the settings.

    thanks Paul

When you first power on your computer, there should be a screen that pops up with your computer manufacturer's name and says something like "Press F2 to enter setup" If you fill in your system specs, I can try to find the key to press to enter the bios for you.

Try tapping F2 or delet repeatedly while the machine is booting.

What computer do you have? We need to know the make and model, otherwise we have no idea what to tell you.

Ok it picked up the virus and removed it, I went in a reset the reboot order but now I cant get past the black screen with all the options for safe mode etc, anything I do it just returns to this screen.

Should be an option to start normally. Might have to try a hard restart.
