I was using ESSBE on W7 but it disabled my internet access, I tried Avira it halved my bandwidth. I was using NOD 32 + Outpost (but Win 7 security center does not detect Outpost and it seems to fluctuate my bw) - I tried the KIS 2010 suite Beta which is free for 1 month - its not bad.

So one of the fastest and lightest anti virus software apps out there slowed down your system?

Hmmm...what version were you running? When was this? What else did you have on your system at the time?

I just can't see it personally, how Vipre could slow any system down.
