    virus removal for windows XP

Hi all, I am trying to remove "findamo" from a computer running XP. every google search I have done trying to find out how to remove it has resulted in someone trying to sell me the latest spyware removal software which I don't want particularly. Does anyone know of a good way to remove findamo without having to download and pay for yet another anti virus program?

Thanks for answer. I have done this on numerous occasions and it does remove it temporarily but the program hides in the registry and will come back at some random interval. I have tried manually removing it from the registry with no success.

Your browser(s) have been hijacked by "findamo" that appears to be a BHO. Please try to removed it with the free SpyBHORemover (formerly BHO Remover) 4.0 that can be downloaded from Download SpyBHORemover (formerly BHO Remover) 4.0 Free - Remove malicious Browser Helper Objects - Softpedia.

Fantastic. Thank you. I'll try that when I get home from work.
