    UpdatusUser folder mysteriously appears


    My C:\Users folder has a subfolder called:

    C:\Users\UpdatusUser

    It has all of the normal subfolders.

    I am very suspicious. Is this a trojan?

There is a non-existent folder on my laptop that appears under the Homegroup listing of shared folders on my desktop. When I try to open it from the desktop it says that Windows can't access it. I can't delete it since Windows can't find it. Strangely, it does *not* show up under the Network...
But when attempting to send a file to an email, the email option does not appear in the context menu. I have searching but possibly not in the right place :( Maybe someone can shine a light. :geek:
Installing W7, going well. First noticed on old install, must have occurred in only the last few days. Almost done the basic install with updates, today and noticed it. It is installed under boot/User account and it is marked that the administrative account does not have access to the folder.. ...
Just when I'm getting all the bugs out of my system this happens.Last night I did a backup of my C: drive and upon completing it there were some files that were not backed up. Please see attachments. The files are part of a user/ Public & user/updatusUser files. I've looked at some earlier posts...
