I went to the Malwarebytes forums to try and find a fix for the Malware protection drop outs. After some downloads for diagnostic, downloaded and ran a malware remover (wait a minute, I thought Malwarebytes 3 was supposed to do that!) and downloading and running a Malwarebytes 3 removal program that froze up and I had to finally manually shutdown the stupid thing, downloading and reinstalling Malwarebytes 3, then going through hell to get the stupid thing to take my license, I think I may have finally fixed the problem.

Even getting registered onto the stupid forum was a study in frustration. They are really picky about what constitutes a strong password. Getting past the blasted, misbegotten CAPTCHAs was a nightmare (I already hate the stupid things but theirs were really bad)!

I really wish Malwarebytes' software programmers would get their act together.
The problem still isn't fixed.

Hi, brink, I noticed that this present version does not include the real state of update, which i used to note in previous version before the new update. I mean vrsion 3. Previously,i could watch the date of update with the no of update on that day like 26.5.2017-8 etc. Did you notice?
I did write to them in their forum and i did not get any positive reply.

Hi, Probably because, they included some extra features in paid version and it may not be possible to give those particulars. Beforehand, it is one product only, with the exception of real protection in paid version. I also use the android version and glad tha it could catch phising sms also.
But adding so many features slows down your system considerably

Malwarebytes Database Version
I just ran the updater in Malwarebytes, and was surprised at the change in version numbers, as can be seen in the screenshot. I suppose they may just have decided to use a different system, but I'm wondering if it might indicate something more nefarious, like someone else slipping into the picture?

Full retail version of Malwarebytes & Comodo.. anyone using both?
I recently purchased the retail version of Malwarebytes just to see if it's any good. It seems almost mindless how people talk about Malwarebytes but and I have yet to try it. However, the only computer I have that I am absolutely determined to keep for more than a few months already has comodo...
