    I would create a new thread for this.
    I don't think it's because of MBAM.
    I'm not sure if it's a WU update issue, or something specific to MSE updates ...

    If you do a system restore it will corrupt the Malwarebytes install. The only solution at this time is to do a clean install of Malwarebytes v2.

    I'm scared to even touch Mbam these days. :O

    All these reports about file corruption, BSODs due to Mbam and infinite windows boot up loops... I thought they would have fixed V2 by now.

    I'm still using V1.75 personally, I hope it continues to be supported well beyond the currently stated cut-off date early next year.

    The latest version of Malwarebytes 2.0.2.1012 works great on my 2 computers.

    My version (paid for) has a habit of not responding when I start it up but wait for a minute or so and it "restarts" - not a big deal it is fast.
