Very respectfully - this is not true. The sometimes dozen+ daily database releases are just as apropos now as they ever where. However, no rootkit databases will apply with MBAM1.

As far as technical support for the MBAM1 application itself, you have but to ask, and help is yours. Email support or forum support.

IMHO further MBAM1 long-term support is tightly coupled with the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Business version. When that customer base has been upgraded to MBAM2, let's see where we are then.

Still, I urge everyone to upgrade now and enjoy the increased levels of protection.

    Cheers.

Yep mbam 2.0.4.1028 is okay not many bugs.

Default for checking for updates is still pretty weird and unnecessary every 5 minutes is just whack and a waste of resources and it does not like changes even with new tasks added.
    1.75..... did this so well.

My check for updates is hourly and I haven't changed it.

Do you have a link for this "lose support" info ?
Are you kidding me? You were the one who supplied that date back in post #563 of this thread.

Yea I'm happy if it updated once a day at startup which it has never really done well no matter how many times I'd clean.. reactivate :)

    Indeed.

Looking at the link in that post, it would seem that the idea was always that the only support that would be withdrawn later this month was that offered through submission of tickets. Definition updates would continue to be applied and forum support provided, but tickets would not be invited or accepted. Whether that date remains in force is the main area of doubt for me, given that it has taken a lot longer than previously anticipated to get the new version to a condition that has a reasonable degree of confidence about it.

I'm still using 1.75 (free version) and am less uneasy about upgrading than I was, but the unease is still there.

Probably the same reason I was for a while (later, it was just laziness). When the 2.xx versions first came out, they were buggier than a flophouse bed and plagued with problems. I recently upgraded (finally), and it seems to be doing OK.

Okay yea my only gripe has been it's updating weirdness and still no popup confirmation of successful updating otherwise 2.0... has been okay other than the bad update they put out.
