MSE is totally down/end support on Windows 7 ?

    Hello,
yesterday Windows Update showed as usual update of virus definition for MSE. It installed immidiately (strange) , and in 5 minutes the same update popped up again.
So I tried manually update definition in MSE, but it shows me only Error table, that I am not connect to the internet.

But I think, that I have actual version of Virus definition (1.393.425.0) .

So my question is, is this the end of era MSE on Windows 7 ? Or is it any bug on Microsoft side? Thank you in advance.

MSE is still receiving definition updates via Windows Update.

For some reason, definition updates are no longer received when doing it from within MSE.

I first noticed this issue a few days ago.

That's the problem, last three Definitions updates still shows/popping up after 5 minutes and installed immediately.

I am not having that issue.
It may be because of whatever Windows Update settings you are using.

I see the same if trying to update in MSE itself....

I have 4 Windows 7 Pro 64-bit computers that I cycle through each day.
Usually within 15 minutes after firing up each one, Windows Update installs the latest definition file.
As long as the definition files get updated each day, I am not concerned about how it occurs.

Looking into this on another W7 machine, one that hasn't been updated for a few days.....

....although checking for updates in MSE says that it has failed....

...in actual fact it has successfully installed the latest definitions. The error occurs after the definitions have been updated.

Bree : This is not that big issue. I have issue with WU, which still poppping up the latest installed Definition :-/ .
I tried reinstall MSE and manually install Definitions. That fixes this Error table in MSE, but WU still shows one update available :-/ .
