Yes, they are the same build as no major issues were found in the last released beta. There were 2 quick beta releases as we did find some issues of concern. As with any program there are certainly issues and we are continuing to work on them. The next beta will probably be 2.1 in the near future. When it comes to "bugs" and coding whether the product is released or not it has bugs period. Visual Basic 6 once they finished supporting it had somewhere in the neighborhood of a thousand confirmed bugs that they simply never did fix. Windows XP was in development and bug release for over 13 years and guess what.... there are still many confirmed bugs that simply will not be fixed ever.

I agree that for most users its best to use a released version though as it has had the most extensive testing compared to beta testing.

As for not trying stuff and not playing around and learning well I'd be bored to death and probably look for a different career. I love computers and what makes them tick.

Odd Bill I have a Public Beta version with the same build number I got on May14 2014.

I sent Ron (Advanced Setup) a PM about it.
    It is the same build.
    The beta went gold.
If you are already running 2.0.2.1012, there is nothing to update.
(Confirmed by MBAM staff via PM at their forum.)

I can confirm that Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.0.2.1012 (Released May 20, 2014) is the same build as the beta version 2.0.2.1012 as well...
Thanks, Ron has also confirmed this as well.

Did a full clean, fresh install. Same issue with updates crashing, multi icons. Had to log into hidden Admin account again and update there to fix it. Sure hope they fix that! A Guy

As you already know, 1012 is no longer beta - that's all my post was about.

They'll through this again with 2.1, hopefully the issue Bill (A Guy) is experiencing will be resolved as that seems to be the most serious (and ugly) issue with 1012. I have a list of mostly cosmetic or log data issues (and one or two minor bugs) over on Malwarebytes forum that I'm sure will get resolved. All-in-all 1012 is far more stable than 1004 (which is what Malwarebytes had as their "gold" 2.0 version).

It is my sincere hope that 2.1 is even more stable, faster, and "prettier" (easy to understand, reports are good data...). Most SevenForums members recommend Mbam as a first look for malware and it's always good to suggest "best of breed".

Mbam 1.75 ?? They're a long way from 2.75 ! (I'd guess that the release numbering changed and we're really only looking towards 2.7.5, but that's only a guess)

At least it's easy to do :) Still a user, and a fan. Still recommend MBAM 1st.
