Yes, Jim got the answer. I couldn't think of what improvements there is.
I think I know why I have problems with MBAM 2.0 that I didn't have with 1.75. I had to reinstall my Avira free antivirus last Sunday, but before I did so, I ran a full scan with MBAM. It took about 55 minutes like it did with 1.75, and didn't temporarily freeze when I exited. I'm not sure exactly why, but it seems that on my PC, MBAM isn't keen on Avira.
That is a coincidence as my main machine at home running Kaspersky 2014 often the MBAM program will freeze and it ends up with not responding message. I know from some while back Kaspersky 2013 would not or did not like running with MBAM but now it is just this that happens
It usually clears itself after retrying it but it is irritating.
I just checked and that is indeed the version I'm using.
Apparently it is a problem Avira is aware of.

We really need a popcorn emoticon. It would be so appropriate for what I'm doing with MBAM: setting back waiting and watching. It has gotten better but I'm not upgrading until I stop seeing complaints about the problems the new version is having. MBAM should have spent their time and efforts on getting a basic new version working reasonably bug free before coming with new features and programs.
