Dashboard > "My Account" > "Deactivate".
This converts the MBAM installation to the Free, manual, on-demand version on that computer, so that the license activation can be used on another system.

And: How do I transfer my Malwarebytes Anti-Malware license to a different computer?

    Thanks,
    MM

Hi MoxieMomma I have a question I think you will be able to answer.

I have two lifetime Malwarebytes. One on each of my systems.

I don't remember if each lifetime license was for just one computer or not at the time I bought them. Going only by my brains weak RAM system the number three systems could be used with one lifetime account comes to mind.

    What yea say?

    @AdvancedSetup
Thanks for dropping by to share your information and wisdom.

I think most know that Malwarebytes was counterfeited by IObit at one time. So protecting this great product has got to be a priority; as it should be.

I really don't go on the Malware forum, just because I don't have problems but a couple of times to the best of my memory.
The problem was fixed with my post and one member answering my post. The problem was not caused by Malwarebytes but rather a Repair install I did. For what ever reason Malwarebytes activation did not carry through the Repair install. I didn't get angry then and I'm not angry now.
    Things happen.

A prompt repair for a computer product by a company with millions of customers is rare today. So thank you, your co workers and forum members.

The only folks who can verify license info with certainty are the folks at the Help Desk HERE.
They have access to the license info, transaction info, activation servers and other data.

    >Having said that, if your legit consumer licenses were purchased from the Malwarebytes online store BEFORE March 2014 (or from certain authorized resellers or via a promotion after that date), then they are 1-PC, lifetime licenses, sold as "Malwarebytes Pro".

    • If you purchased them from the Malwarebytes store, then you may contact e-commerce partner (cleverbridge) from the links here or here or here and they can look them up.

    • The information would also be in a confirmation email from cleverbridge sent at the time of the transaction.
    • If you purchased the licenses somewhere else, then you would need to contact that reseller, as cleverbridge will not have any record.
    >If your licenses were purchased AFTER March 24, 2014 and BEFORE SEPT 1 2015, for "Malwarebytes Premium", then they are more likely to be subscription licenses for "up to 3 PCs".

    >If your licenses were purchased AFTER SEPT 1 2015, also for "Malwarebytes Premium, then they are most likely subscription licenses for only 1 PC.

The only certainty is that all legitimate consumer licenses sold before March 2014 are 1-PC, lifetime licenses.

    >>>>>As I mentioned, the best solution is to contact Malwarebytes Support HERE, with as much information/documentation as you can provide. They will assist you in resolving your issue.

    Thanks,

    Good.

You ought to receive an automated reply ~immediately.
If you didn't receive it, please check your spam/junk folders to be sure it didn't land there by mistake.

Then, it would expedite the process if you have your license and purchase info available for the support agent.
They will help you to sort it out.

Please be patient. The agents are assisting with tech support, malware removal AND licensing issues.

    Cheers,
