The Chameleon is great I believe it lets people delete threats easily and lets MBAM run when blocked, small but useful update.

Several years ago I won the paid version of Malwarebytes and it always worked great. I have just updated to the most current version and find that the real time protection becomes disabled at each boot. I have restored Malwarebytes to the earlier version and it works fine, again. Might be a bug in the latest version. To all those that have the paid version, you may want to check that your real time protection is still enabled after boot.

I've updated a few Win 7 PC's with MBAM Pro to the new version and I haven't seen this problem.
I do see some people reporting the issue in the MBAM forum.

Here is one of those threads - post #8 is the post with suggestions to fix it.

I checked my updated version. I have a paid copy. After I restarted it did not start or show up in the notification area. As it turned out Win Patrol had blocked the startup. After I authorized it in Win Patrol, I restarted again and all is well.

I have now tested it on Windows 7 and it looks OK. The first time I booted it took a while before the tray icon appeared. It may be a little buggy as they now have 2 choices on the protection tab. File System Protection and Website Blocking. I have both checked.
