I would recommend Avast if security essentials fails
Why would that be a solution to the issue?

Not a solution but a suggestion :) Better than reinstalling the operating system.

If the current Windows OS isn't validated, then there will most certainly be problems. Avast Anti-virus won't work if Windows is operating on a limited time schedule.

Please download CKScanner by askey127 from HERE
Important - Save it to your desktop.
Doubleclick CKScanner.exe and click Search For Files.
After a very short time, when the cursor hourglass disappears, click Save List To File.
A message box will verify the file saved.
Double-click the CKFiles.txt icon on your desktop and copy/paste the contents in your next reply.

masoomsahib we understand the head aches when a computer is not working. It takes special trained people to translate those logs. I think your answer is in those logs. Hang in there.

A Computer built in 2005, with an OEM_SLP Key?
    Gimme a break!

The installation is counterfeit, enabled by a hacker's Activation Exploit.

Reformat and reinstall with the properly licensed XP

As Noel pointed out, you are attempting to use a counterfeit Windows 7 installation.
