So glad to see Norton has developed something to slow down Windows 7. Seriously though does Norton secretly work for apple? I wouldn't install there garbage if it was free like AVG. I won't use AVG either cause they have joined the kill your computer club as well. Man if only I could tell you how I really feel..
Another ignorant basher. Let me guess; you haven't installed Norton have you.

ESET failed me. Yes thats right, I no longer use ESET due to it letting a virus in and actually letting it run.

Thankfully, a friend gave me 40% off Norton Internet security 2010 so I decided to buy that. So far, its GREAT! Much better than ESET IMO and detected a lot of viruses that ESET Had missed.

    Heres the 40% off link:

It's normal that older users would bash Norton with all the crap they lived through with past versions.

Reviews are what re assure the old boys to gain back confidence.

I was like that with ATI. I now have a 4870 and I love it. I must say that I read a lot of reviews and asked a few of my friends before making a move back. My XP exprience with ATI left a bad taste in my mouth.

I was surprised to see all the good news floating around the web about how Symantec had finally cleaned up their act with Norton 2009 and even more so with Norton 2010 so I went ahead and got it (the antivirus). I couldn't be happier. Nice interface, Norton Insight keeps scans short, low RAM usage, and the its AV comparatives scores are pretty damn good. +1 (finally) for Symantec

Yeah, I'd pretty well written them off, but they've really impressed me with NIS 2010. Really glad I gave them another chance!

       Tip
For Norton 2010 users, click the Performance tab and click Optimize for even better performance.

    What exactly does "Optimize" do?

For all you guys that are raving about the great detection rate, I have one question... Where have you been surfing lately that NIS is detecting all of these nasties???
