    router and passowrd

    Hello
I was advised by Belkin not to set a password but to just 'submit' to enter the router. They did say to set a strong security key.
The reason was the password might not work and I could not enter the router. I think the obvious is that if the router is worth its salt, it should accept a reliable password and also a strong security key with WPA2.
I don't know if they have had issues with a password but the bug is in my mind. if I can't get in I can just press the reset anyway -correct?
Please give me your take on this?
    Thank you

I've had Belkin routers for a while now and have never had a problem entering the settings with my passwords, and yes if all else fails resetting it to default would enable you to get back in with the default no password settings.
