    unable to login keyboard repeats

    Hello,
I believe this may be virus related. Started the computer and it began the chkdsk routine, which I thought was related to improper shutdown due to pwr outages we often have. I was unable to login as the keyboard would repeat any keystroke autofilling the field. I was able to get into the guest account as it has no password. Keyboard repeats in other fields and programs. I switched to a different keyboard and had the same problem. The Windows splash is pulsating more than I remember and cursor/wheel vibrates. Then saw that Norton was turned off. Can't make any changes from guest account. Have done multiple reboots, tried safe mode last good configuration with no changes. Ran full scan of Maleware AB, nothing found.
    thoughts?

Forgot to mention that MBAB runs from guest account, but the elapsed time is wacky, running way fast and the 3-4 minute quick scan showing as time elapsed: 36 minutes plus. ?
