Just trying to bug ESET fanboy Mercurial. Ever since I moved from Nod32 to Vipre, he loves to tear down everything I post. He obviously can't accept the fact that I prefer Vipre over Nod.
I prefer Vipe, some prefer Nod32, that's fine. No ONE anti virus is the best by any means.
False positives can happen with any anti virus but I'm not sure why you or Dinesh are having a problem with it. I have not had one false positive with Vipre, but even if I did, the default action is to quarantine the threat. Just go into quarantine and restore it. Vipre does not delete the threat by default. I'm surprised you guys wouldn't have know this.
Oh, you mean the ESET that continued to delete (and I mean actually delete not just quarantine) the video codecs that are not a virus or malware, created by Shark who posts on this site? That same ESET?
