    )Window 7 - Securing the desktop when UAC is set to "Always notify me options"


    The expected behavior is "You will be notified before programs make changes to your computer or Windows settings that require the permissions of an administrator.You need to either approve or deny the request in the UAC
    dialog box to continue with that task, but you can still do other things on your computer while the UAC dialog box is open.
    This setting is fairly secure.
    Problem:
    While instaling any programs it is updating the system files, the UAC dialog box is displaying and dimming the desktop. Whereas It should not lock the desktop it should only notify/prompt the user.

    Windows 7 - Not Notifying the user while user updates windows settings when UAC set t


    The expected behavior is "You will be notified before programs make changes to your computer or Windows settings that require the permissions of an administrator.You need to either approve or deny the request in the UAC
    dialog box to continue with that task, but you can still do other things on your computer while the UAC dialog box is open. This setting is fairly secure.

    Problem:
    we are not getting the notification/prompt when we change the windows settings like firewall settings
