    Hi,

I know that and I don't want to get this message each time I boot ...
Does anyone know how to disable this message?

    Hello MPREv,

What happens when you click on the click here to turn it on link in the message?

Nothing happened. (the blue ring was cycling).
I tried to deactivate the Windows Defender Service hoping that it will result in stopping the window popping up at a startup. But it still happens.
When I now click on the link an error message says that the service is not started.

Do you have MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials) or any other 3rd party AV program installed that may have disabled Windows Defender?

You might also double check each option in the tutorial below to see if you may have Windows Defender (MSASCui.exe) listed in your startup programs.
