NIS 2010 is insanely low on resources, I might ditch KIS in favor of NIS after my license expires.

I am not a big fan of this antivirus, but that is probably because i like to have a more advanced interface. But if you do not know much about computers or the different settings provided, then this is probably the best choice for you.

That is a valid opinion, however I still find it a lot better then most anti-virus software out there, and its free.

This story and the following comments make me glad I'm using MSE.

I wonder why though, Microsoft would give me an offer to download Norton for free rather than suggest their own product.

Microsoft Security Essentials
Hello Does anyone know if Microsoft Security Essentials can be installed in Wimdows 8 as a separate download. I have Win 7, love it and use MSE. I undestand it is not part of Win 8. Thank you

Is Microsoft Security Essentials and Windows Firewall enough Security?
Is the above enough security or should I be going for an anti-virus program as well?
