when you run the installer from the download it gives an error message, says "corrupt file!"
only for x64 english and only if downloaded from the main download page. from updates its ok.
its not the download that is corruptit will download, its the installer.

Was it from a suggestion in this thread or did you find an entirely new way?
It could help others that have a situation similar to yours.

I seems to have been fixed now. i just managed to install it in a 64bit VM.
