If you are using the current release of Comodo v5.0 make sure that 'Treat unrecognized files as' is set toUntrusted in the Defense+ Execution Control Settings...

And that Automatically detect installers/updaters is left unchecked in the Sandbox Settings...

Please let us know what your CLT score is when these settings are in effect.

If you want to travel the Internet with all of your ports exposed then that's fine with me, go ahead!

I get the same result with GRC.

As i was running only basic firewall CLT gave me a score of 160 which is understandable as most of the test targets Defense+ (I discovered this by clearing my logs before the test & it has been mentioned by others earlier in this thread)

I then enabled Defense+ and my only vulnerability was Impersonation:coat after a bit of research found it was resolved by simply cleaning out my default browser cache.

There is a guide to passing the Comodo Leak Test at Comodo Forums

    https://forums.comodo.com/leak-testi...-t61715.0.html

    3. Delete the Internet Explorer (IE) browsing history cache. Run IE, click on the "tools" menu, then select "internet options". Click on the "general tab" and then click on the "delete" button under browsing history. You can also delete the browsing history using cleaning programs such as CCleaner or Cleanup! The reason why you need to clean the IE history: If CLT was previously run and previously failed "Impersonation: Coat", IE will open the target webpage from the IE cache, and not through the leak, leading to a false failure of "Impersonation: Coat". Erasing the browsing history ensures that IE cannot load the webpage from the cache and forces IE to load the webpage through the leak.

    4. Reboot your computer (The current version of CLT does not "clean out" some actions that it creates after it has been run. If CLT is re-run without rebooting, it may give an inaccurate score because of these left over actions. The only way to clean out these actions is to re-boot).

mitchell64- I was one of those people that could only get a 320/340 Leak Test score with Comodo 4.1 failing in Impersonanion: Explorer AsParent and DDE, but with Comodo v5.0 and the changes in settings outlined above my computer's CLT score is back to 340/340 once again.

Maxx..that's exactly how I have mine set but like I said, I only score 210. Could it be because of some programs I have allowed?

tw33k- You could go through and check the Comodo Firewall and Defense+ settings and remove any related CLT entries that you find.

CLT isn't there. I got a warning about it and just ran it in the sandbox.

UPDATE: I removed all the trusted files, set everything back to "Training Mode" and re-ran the test. This time I scored 320.

Nothing came of the 4000 pings per day so clearly closed ports are fine. The only exposed ports are open ports.

When people see that there are ports closed and not stealthed, they think they are not protected. That is not true.

Now that is the ticket! You've come a long way from that score of 210 and in a very short time! Nice job...
