Open up a browser . Input the IP address of the router and for the User Name and Password is admin. And setup the wireless without the WPS enabled .

I have disabled WPS and it still says the password is incorrect. My router security is WPA2-PSK and WPA encryption is TKIP+AES. Are these settings fine?

Hmm I wonder why it is still saying I have entered an incorrect key or password, any more ideas?. Well at least the AVG is sorted - thanks for that.

You're welcome . Disconnect from that router from the other laptop(vista) and reconnect and see what happens .
