Be very, very careful running Revouninstaller and deleting trace items in the registry!!

Always backup the registry first. Back up the registry

On the newer Revo Uninstaller Free and Pro versions you could select all and it will only delete the items displayed in BOLD

I did make sure only the bold items were deleted, yes.

But point taken, I got a bit deletion happy and started taking off other programs I don't use. I will make sure I am careful with the registry ...

Mr Vista, from my original BSOD thread, is this https://www.sevenforums.com/system-security/206705-good-free-system-security-combination.html my best bet, in so far as doing all I can to avoid this ever again?

I currently have Miscrosoft Security Essentials, and Malware Bytes
