So I am trying a chkdsk and I don't know if it froze or it really takes that long. It's been on 10% since last night .

chkdsk completed and it fixed a lot of errors , but I still can't boot into Windows 7. After it says Windows is starting it actual loads up a pitch dark screen and a mouse cursor, same with safemode . It doesn't reboot no more . Progress is being made.
