Product number for the laptop= HP 584037-001
If the command does not work, does the machine have access to the hard drive on the bottom?
Sometimes there is like a small door secured with a small screw, and if you use a small screwdriver and remove the screw, you can see the specs of the HDD. It'ss the old fashioned way!!
However, try the following command:
and...Code:wmic diskdrive get name,size,model
Code:wmic csproduct get name,vendor,identifyingNumber
To Copy/Paste info from the Command Prompt with the right-click menu:
Right-click on the background of the CP window and select: Mark
Draw a box around the text you want to copy.
Press the Enter key to copy the selected text to the clipboard.
Paste it to Notepad.
