You should be able to type the command in Safe Mode with Command Prompt by tabbing F8 and choosing Safe Mode with Command Prompt log in if you have a password setup on your account .

It could be an HP G62-XXX
Is there a label with model code; serial code etc., under the battery?
Remove the battery and see if the information label is on the inside of the battery compartment. See Figure 2
If not, try Figure 1 or 3.
I think VistaKing wants to find the Model number of the Solid State drive (SSD), or HDD.
That one has been rather elusive...
Might have to use the ol' screwdriver...might be easier than anything else.
So much process to do. Do I have to really do that, I really don't want to screw anything from the laptop since it's my buddies, and I really never worked inside the laptop. Can't I just View hard drive information , would that be enough?
