I agree. Im sorry I wasn't clear. Comodo requested their product be tested, and it was. I wonder if they would have requested it be tested if they didn't think it would do well.
Its a well known product, and I have no problems with their products. Im just a skeptic.
Matousec are a respected independent testing facility
The way that this testing scheme is operated is that a basic test, or more precisely suite of tests, are performed on a majority of security suites on a regular schedule.
Any developer can also request Matousec to perform an enhanced test for more thorough testing of their product.
This is the test that Comodo requested and passed so well
I doubt they would have asked for essentially an update to their ranking if they thought it wouldn't come out well, I agree.
I find it kind of funny to read some of the inputs from companies that have been tested and that didn't come out way up in the rankings, but that's just my nasty nature I guess...Schadenfreude anyone?
