    Hi Guys,
    I just did the Farbry Scanner again and it says that Windows Defender is turned off. And when I go to the service and start it it appears a corrupted service.

    The firewall works but this service appears to not work at all.

    Windows Defender is disabled in the Registry:

    Windows Defender Disabled Policy:
    ==========================
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Defender]
    "DisableAntiSpyware"=DWORD:1

    What AntiVirus program do you have running?

    I believe most security software will disable Windows Defender.

    Oh yeah I think I did disable that very bad software since it was so bad. How do you remove Windows Defender completely or is it part of the OS? Is there a patch where you can remove it safely? :/

    That's true, I don't think it can be uninstalled, but disabled only.

    What a pitty the problem is solved already, I would have liked to suggest to try another administer account to see if the problem is only related to your user or any user on the computer and there is also some options on Group Policy Editor for Windows Firewall that could be causing Access erros...

    I wounder what this tweaking Windows Repair tool does? Because I always like to know what is going on in my computer.

    Anyway, good to know that the problem is solved.
