Windows Defender + Trend Micro Titanium keep switching off/won't open
I was wondering if someone could help me, I have Windows Defender and Trend Micro Titanium 2013 installed on my Windows 7 laptop and the past few days, they keep switching off and I can't open the Trend Micro Titanium 2013 console at all, even after re-installing it and rebooting my laptop. Does anyone have any ideas as to they both these programs aren't working properly? Do I maybe have a virus that is causing this behaviour?

Windows Defender in Windows 7 should be turned OFF anytime another anti virus program is installed.
I'm surprised that Trend Micro didn't turn off Windows Defender when it was installed. Never have two anti virus programs running at the same time. Check Windows Defender and make sure it is OFF. Windows Defender - Turn On or Off Make sure you reboot. |

McAfee or Trend Micro My last AV has expired and as a temporary fix, I installed Trend Micro Titanium on my PC. I was wondering which would be the best paid version to go with - Trend Micro Titanium 2011 or McAfee 2011? Has anyone had any problems with these AV vendors/programs before? :geek: |
