Is Tidynetwork still on my computer?

Got the Tidynetwork malware and don't know if I have gotten rid of it. I have run Malwarebytes, Spywareblaster, CCleaner. Adwcleaner, Kapersky's TDSSKiller and Bleepingcomputer's version (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/foru.../tidy-network/). All were run (several times) with anti-virus protection disabled. Furthermore, although I haven't fully scanned with Norton's 360 (via Comcast), I haven't gotten a warning from them. Anyway, all scans were negative.

However, since none of the scans were productive, and as I haven't used the computer too much since the negative scans, aside from Tidynetwork rearing its ugly self, how can I tell it it is or isn't on my computer?

I would think it is gone. From my understanding if Tidynetwork is still installed it should be listed in Add and Remove Programs or in Ccleaner under tools.
You could do a search using Windows Explorer Search and see if it picks up anything.
Did the AdwCleaner log show it as being removed.
You could also run AdwCleaner again and monitor the log and don't forget to select delete and monitor the log again.
You could also search through the registry if you are comfortable doing that but I don't think that would be necessary.

This has become an interesting exercise. When I first started to try to remove TNW, I went to Revo, Windows Explorer, SearchEverything and Windows Uninstall, none of which showed TNW. Really wondering why it didn't show?

Did the AdwCleaner log show it as being removed. No.

So, here's more interesting stuff. After running the programs above and not seeing anything fruitful, did a little more searching and ran Kapersky's TDSSKiller and Bleepingcomputer's version (both several times), with no TNW detected within their logs. At that point I posted here because I couldn't tell if TNW was removed. Also, the computer had now been running (and surfing) for about 45 minutes without TWN showing up. So I gave another try at detecting it using SearchEverything, Revo, Adwcleaner, CCleaner and Window's Uninstall. Wouldn't you know it showed up in SearchEverything and CCleaner's Start. Then I went about to remove every known vestige of TNW. I think it is gone.

Download DDS from one of these links:
    DDS.com
    DDS.pif
    • Disable any script blocking protection
    • Double click the dds icon to run the tool.
    • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
      1. DDS.txt
      2. Attach.txt <--- will be minimized in the task tray
    • Save both reports to your desktop.

Include the contents of both logs in your next post.
