    I don't see HDD in the bios under f2. am I missing something

    Inside the bios do you see anything with these words Standard CMOS Features and
    SATA 0 - SATA 3 . What does it say for SATA 0 and Advanced Chipset Features does it say ATA or SATA for SATA Mode ?

    sata 0 Hardisk

    in ACF it says sata mode ahci

    when I selected sata mode it gave me ATA or AHCI as options

    Ok keep it as AHCI . How about inside Boot Device Configuration Hard Disk Priority and on
    1st Boot Device 2nd Boot Device 3rd Boot Device 4th Boot Device 5th Boot Device
