No biggie. The log is clean. That is what counts.

Please go back to SystemLook (Post #293)
•Right click on SystemLook.exe and select: Run As Administrator
•Copy the content of the following quote box and paste it into the main text field of SystemLook:

    :filefind
    MpSvc.dll
•Click the Look button to start the scan.

•When finished, Notepad opens with the results of the scan.

    Please post new SystemLook.txt.

There were 3 files with MpSvc.dll, and ComboFix only fixed one, or did not report all the events.

Did you, at one time, download Windows 8 to try it out?

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Client\MpSvc.dll --a---- 1555920 bytes [18:36 27/01/2013] [18:36 27/01/2013] 905601FFF40D8DA9FA82CBE77D1F5EB1

    Prescottbob installed MSE.

    [ 905601FFF40D8DA9FA82CBE77D1F5EB1 ] C:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Client\MpSvc.dll

Doesn't that file with that MD5 belong to it?

I also run MSE in Windows 7.

Have the file in my computer under C:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Client
    MD5: 905601FFF40D8DA9FA82CBE77D1F5EB1, same size...

and, also under C:\Program Files\Windows Defender, but with a different size.

Can someone clue me in on what I am missing?
