The path I provided you is probably incorrect, since I do not know exactly where the autorun file is.

You could try downloading WinRAR archiver, and give that a whirl...

In the meantime, this is a quickie...

    Please go back to SystemLook
    Double-click SystemLook.exe to run it.
Copy the content inside the following quote box into the open field:
    :reg
    HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\
Click the Look button to start the scan.

When finished, a Notepad window opens with the results of the scan.
Please post the SystemLook.txt in your reply.

    More questions...

Did you ever have AVG AntiVirus installed?

Refresh my memory...was McAfee your previous AV?

    How did you uninstall it?

Never had AVG on this machine. McFee has been the only one. We uninstalled it from the Control Panel. I guess we did that because I couldn't download the Mc remover in IE and we hadn' t gone to Chrome yet.

Please download and install the Revo Uninstaller (Freeware) from here:
    http://www.revouninstaller.com/download/revosetup.exe
    Download to the Desktop.

Run Revo Uninstaller and see if McAfee is there.

    Post back on the outcome.
