Going to bed. Catch up with y'all when I see ya.
I just ran the tool as admin - restarted - the MPF is still in services.msc . The MPF cleanup tool we ran last night did remove it from the add-on list in IE tools. -:)
Lets see something in the registry .
Click on type REGEDIT inside the Search programs and files box inside the Start Menu . When REGEDIT comes up under Programs (1) right click and choose Run as administrator . On the User Access Control window click on Yes . Inside registry click on Computer then click on Edit then click on Find in the Find window type in McAfee and click on Find Next button .
Ok. I've got it on the screen
REG-SZ. C:/ProgramFiles(x86)/McAfee/MPS/maps alert/exe
There is "Default" as name .
Do you have RevoUninstaller installed ? If you do use Hunter Mode
Go to C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\McAfee right click on McAfee folder and choose uninstall .
Guide me. I've got a bulls eye on the upper right of the screen-I click on it and it gives me options.
Drag the bullseye to the McAfee folder inside C:\Programs (x86) then choose Uninstall when you right-click .
