    Malwarebytes

Am trying to download the free Malwarebytes on a new install and each time I download and install it turns out to be the trial version.

I have Kaspersky 2013 installed and after a couple of crashes I am suspecting that the Malwarebytes (trial) is clashing with the Kaspersky so can anyone please let me know of the free version download link?

No change I have tried all links but always end up with the trial version. I am now beginning to think perhaps the "genuine" Windows 7 disk \I bought from Ebay which turned out to be a Dell reinstall disk may have some thing to do with it.

The machine has not been running fast at all and \I should have asked my brother (ICit2lol) first before I bought the rotten thing. I think I may have to give the Malwarebytes a miss.

Did you uncheck the Enable free trial ?

Might want to purchase a legit Windows 7 DVD . eBay not a good place to purchase things unless its an actual store that sells items on a website like newegg.com or newegg.ca ( Canada )

Yes the last download did not even have the trial tick box.

Yes John my brother says that all the time but I was taken in by the ad picture on Ebay

The fellow selling I am hazarding a guess has picked up a job lot of Dell reinstall disks but at near the OEM prices from local suppliers he really took me for a ride. To rub salt into the wound he even asked why I didn't give him a good reference on EBay!!

I know it probably is the OS as \I installed a Windows 8 upgrade over the \vista and it works real fast so am going to slot that other hard drive back in and us use it instead until I get the OEM proper.

I've seen this a few times now, if you activate the trial by mistake uninstall and re-install it seems to remember you activated the trial and resumes it. Best way is to run the removal tool reboot and install fresh again - Use mbam-clean.exe to completely remove Malwarebytes Anti-Malware : Malwarebytes Support

It may not work, but uninstall MBAM, run CCleaner registry and temp files cleaner, reboot, repeat. Try downloading a new MBAM and uncheck the box to install Trial Version.
