Can't get rid of searchnu hijack completely...

    Search results toolbar folder can't be uninstalled because its open in another program I think this is it.

    Yes the issue is the folder needs to be deleted. I think this is why it comes back.

    Lets run Rkill .

    Click on this link Downloading RKill

    Once its done it will open up a Notepad . Upload that log.

    [ Note] Don't restart the PC [/Note]

    Try removing the Search Results Toolbar now.

    C program files 86 search results toolbar that's it. I deleted a browser manager folder in the hidden program data file already

    I have to go to the doctor do ill reply Ina couple hours.

    Hi Delta808 ... Let's see what else may be affecting the removal of searchnu

    Download DDS from one of these links:
    DDS.com
    DDS.pif
    • Disable any script blocking protection
    • Double click the dds icon to run the tool.
    • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
      1. DDS.txt
      2. Attach.txt <--- will be minimized in the task tray
    • Save both reports to your desktop.

    Include the contents of both logs in your next post.
    The scan will instruct you to post Attach.txt as an attachment.
