Problem With Firefox (Seth.avazutracking), Norton Issues Linked?
Hello.
I have been having some issues with my fairly new PC lately (7 months). I came up with a few solutions to it, but I would like some suggestions.
Stage 1-Firefox Acts Weird
I knew it by then that I got the classic-seth.avazutracking.net. This part my Internet worked fine, but: there were install Flash to continue warnings EVERYWHERE. I don't go anywhere suspicious. I know my safe sites; I know my tech. You know, YouTube, Google, Comcast.net, an occasional game at Newgrounds, things like that.
Despite not clicking on any of them, I got the virus. I evaded the popups by the Tab Close, but it did something.
Stage 2-Norton Acts Up
Norton gave me an error upon starting. 8504,100 I believe. Suspicious.
Stage 3-Internet Refusing To Work On Either Browser.
I noticed that my Internet refused to work. I unconnected the wireless to make sure it wasn't interfering with the wirein, and vice versa. I rebooted twice. No solution. In fact, I'm using my iPhone to type this.
Possible Solutions
1-Retrieve my Linux laptop and get some Norton Fixer and Cleaner. Save on to the USB drive and go from there.
2-Same thing as 1, but with Windows Safe Mode.
Any other solutions or thoughts?
