    Let's press on...

Note: This will take a while.

    Please download CCleaner - Standard
    Save to your USB pendrive.

Plug the USB pendrive in the problem computer
Right-click the ccleaner icon, continue pressing on it, and move it to the Desktop.

Double-click the ccleaner file on the Desktop to run the program.
Press Next, and, at the second prompt, leave the following checked: Automatically check for updates to CCleaner
All other entries are your choice, and can be unchecked, if you wish to do so.
    >>At any time, if offered any toolbars, do not install any.<<

    Now, press: Install

If redirected to the Piriform website to buy the program, just close it.

At the main program console, the Cleaner broom button should be darker than the others if engaged.

    Press: Run Cleaner

At a point in the process, a pop up appears advising CCleaner will permanently delete files from your system.
    Click: OK
When the program is done, click: Exit

Now, download Windows Repair (All In One)
Go to Portable > Direct Download
    Save to your USB pendrive
    Extract the zip file.
Follow the prompts in the extracting routine...
A tweaking.com Windows Repair folder is creasted on the pendrive.

Plug the pendrive in the problem computer
Move the tweaking.com Windows Repair folder to the Desktop

Now, at the Desktop, open the folder, right-click the Repair_Windows icon and select: Run as Administrastor

    At he Windows Repair console...

Go to Step 2 and allow it to run Check Disc by clicking: Do it
This step requires a restart. When requested, please do so. if not requested, do restart the computer.

Next, go to Step 3 and allow it to run System File Check by clicking: Do it
This step also requires a restart.

Go to the Step 4 tab.
    Under System Restore, press: Create
    Press: Next

At the Start Repairs tab, click: Start

    Under Repair Options
    Press:Unselect all

Now, looking at the long list under Repair Options, check/select the following:
    • Reset Registry Permissions
    • Reset File Permissions
    • Repair WMI
    • Repair Winsock & DNS Cache
    • Repair Proxy Settings
    • Remove Policies Set by Infection
    • Repair Internet Explorer
    • Restore Important Windows Services
    • Set Windows Services to Default Startup
Check: Restart/Shutdown system when finished (on the right side)

    Press: Start

When done, press the Log tab (far right of Repair Options list)
The program saves any errors from the repairs into a txt file in a folder on the Windows drive: C:\Tweaking.com_Windows_Repair_Logs\

If possible (not tremendously large) please post the contents of the Logs folder.

    When done, close the program.

Also, post back on whether you notice any improvement.
