Error 0x8004100a encountered when trying to load MOF C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\MICROSOFT SQL SERVER\90\SHARED\SQLMGMPROVIDERXPSP2UP.MOF while recovering .MOF file marked with autorecover.
This should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Shared\sqlmgmproviderxpsp2up.mof
Follow these steps to display hidden files and folders.
You need to find sqlmgmproviderxpsp2up.mof in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Shared\ or C:\Program Files(X86)\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Shared\. Have you found it?
- Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Folder Options.
- Click the View tab.
- Under Advanced settings, click Show hidden files and folders, and then click OK.
The configuration of the AdminConnection\TCP protocol in the SQL instance MSSMLBIZ is not configured correctly.
This could possibly a big part of the problem for not being able to download.
Go into services.msc and disable Bonjour, then stop it. Click apply and OK.
No this is not an upgrade. Genuine win 7 PC. I disabled the Bonjour service and tried downloading again from IE and that didnt help. Can you tell me what Bonjour is?
