    Trojandropper:win32/vb.hy removed- any consequences

Recently started seeing BSOD. Removed mcafee and using only Microsoft security essentials with malwarebytes. MSE found trojandropper:win32/vb.hy and quarantined. Not sure if BSOD was related to that or if there are any consequences or things I need to check after that virus removal.

    Thanks.

    Run

    Malwarebytes

    Download Link MalwareBytes

When the installation is done uncheck Enable free trial of Malwarebytes (see image below )

    Update the definitions

    On the Scanner tab:
Make sure the "Perform Quick Scan" option is selected.
Then click on the Scan button.
If asked to select the drives to scan, leave all the drives selected and click on the Start Scan button.
The scan will begin and "Scan in progress" will show at the top. It may take some time to complete so please be patient.
When the scan is finished, a message box will say "The scan completed successfully. Click 'Show Results' to display all objects found".
Click OK to close the message box and continue with the removal process.
Back at the main Scanner screen, click on the Show Results button to see a list of any malware that was found.
Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
When removal is completed, a log report will open in Notepad.
The log is automatically saved and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
Copy and paste the contents of that report in your next reply and exit MBAM.

    v7377,

If you are located somewhere near Philadelphia, Pa, please do not delete anything in the RogueKiller report.

Please download the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool
    Select the 64-bit version.

    Save to the Desktop.
    • Double-click the downloaded file to run it.
    • When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
    • Press the Scan button.
    • FRST64 makes a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory from which the tool is run (Desktop).
Please provide the FRST.txt in your reply. <<---

The first time the tool is run, it also makes another log: Addition.txt
Also post the Addition.txt in your reply. <<---

On the BSODs, how did you remove McAfee ?
