    Did you disable windows defender before installing Comodo?

    No I didn't. Does that cause problems?
    Yes. You have two AV programs running, probably fighting each other.

    Well you need to disable one of them for sure, start with defender if you are going to keep comodo.

    I don't know anything about comodo. If it was my computer right now, I'd uninstall comodo and try to clear up your various issues before trying to install other stuff.

    What happened with the other thread I linked, are you still getting the flash player pro pop up?

    Yes but I think it's mixed with other types of ads too.
    Ok I think I'm going to uninstall Comodo.

    Look s like a bit of a mess I found today too that Windows Defender and the Windows Firewall was slowing my machine down - didn't know they were on as Kaspersky usually turns that stuff off when it installs.

    What Britton is saying too makes sense as that first post gibberish had me wondering what the heck it was to be honest.

    Plus as Derek says two AV's mate no go the Comodo I found rather good except for that wretched Geek Buddy and it was free. But there are plenty of free stuff around if you want something a little more heavy weight than Defender.
