Now that I want it to come up - it won't. Of course. It was a smallish box that quickly popped up and disappeared so fast when opening Firefox that I couldn't read the whole thing, just saw the "congratulations" line and a paragraph of something.

Firefox has always been a problem on this computer, according to my son. It says it's outdated and needs to update, but I'm about afraid, lol.

Lets see something. Right click on Firefox select Properties . Inside the Properties window click on the Shortcut tab inside the Target section it should say only this "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" if it has anything after that delete everything after Firefox.exe .

No, it just says this, but I don't know what the (x86) means...

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"

You have a 64-bit OS . On 64 bit OSes you will have two C:\Program Files folders one will be C:\Program Files for 64 bit software and the other will be C:\Program Files (x86) for 32-bit software. Firefox is a 32bit software so it installs in the 32 bit Programs Folder .

Ok. It popped up with "failed" partly through PCfix but then it appeared to complete the removal process of both.
