How do I make sure ports 2078 (ssl) and 2077 are not firewalled

I have a site on HostGator and I was wanting to try out their Disk Space. I've been having tons of problems with the site but that's another story. To use the site on my pc I need to make sure the above ports aren't firewalled. I keep getting the same error message no matter what I do when I try to access the procedure.

I use AVG anti-virus and I'm not even too sure where to start.

Have you tried asking in their "support forum"? HostGator Forums « HostGator.com Support Portal

AVG AV has no firewall, what one do you use? There should be a place to make an exception for the two ports.

Yeh, a bit obvious. Sorry, obviously the Help Form of HostGator. Thanks, I'll mark as solved.
