Not sure what you are doing John, but you should read this:

Ok mate I'll try it again as I still have the disk and this link is for the Pure which I wasn't using at the time and only used it for a very short period way before I bought the MBAM cos it was too convoluted for me.

If you are referring to an "MBAM Pro" disk you have, you should not use it...it is probably an older version and you would have to do a Program Update after using the disk.

The latest MBAM download file is the same for MBAM free, MBAM trial, and MBAM Pro.

If you already have the latest "MBAM free" program version installed, you don't need to re-install...
The only difference is how a person uses the latest download file during or after installing...
If someone wants to try the "real-time trial", don't unclick the "Trial checkbox"...
If someone has a license and wants to use "real-time PRO", enter the license info after installing the latest version.
Shouldn't make any difference, installing from the older disk or latest download, the program well do a update as part of the initial installation. I have the commercial disk of MBAM and SASW, both update to current version when installed.

    Thanks Dave for the reply.

I did post the same question to Malwarebyte's as suggested here by Golden. By-the-way Golden, thanks for your reply and suggestion. I would have thanked you earlier, but there is no reply window for your window message.

Anyway, Malwarebytes seemed to have removed the question? I checked throughout their forum and could not find the post. I posted it in the General section.

So, thanks everybody for your time and suggestions. Maybe its just a glitch?
